Community Overview
When you participate in Sakai, you join an active and vibrant community of educators, institutional leaders and developers working together to inspire enhanced teaching, learning and research. Sakai’s designers and developers work closely with teaching and learning professionals on campuses across the world, ensuring the shortest possible distance between end-user needs and the software. Most of this collaboration happens on our Email Lists and on the Sakai Project Wiki.
Sakai community members represent every type of institution profile and size. For a list of current Sakai users, see our Who's Using Sakai page.
To learn more about getting involved in Sakai as an individual, start with our New to Sakai FAQ and visit the Contributing to Sakai webpage.
Over one-third of the top 100 universities in the world participate in Sakai, providing a system now in use at over 200 other universities, colleges, and schools.
